STOP THINK GIVE

In celebration of its 125th anniversary in 2009, Bulgari, the luxury retailer, and Save the Children began a global partnership through a cause marketing promotion in which a portion of sales of a special designed co-branded ring and pendant benefited quality education for children affected by war and conflict. Since that time, the partnership has raised more than $15 million for children around the world, including in the U.S. Bulgari recently committed to an additional two years of support for children around the world, primarily through education programs. The company has pledged to raise another $2.5 million through 2013 through the sales of an iconic ring, inspired by the B.zero1 jewelry line that was launched in the fall of 2010. The ring is available in Bulgari stores worldwide, select department stores, and on Bulgari’s e-commerce website for $420, $90 of which is being donated to Save the Children.

BVLGARI has introduced a specially-designed silver and ceramic ring in support of BVLGARI’s pledged commitment that will reach a total of 12 million Euros to Save the Children, of which $7.4 million (6 million Euros) in 2010-2011 will support quality education for the world’s neediest children. The 2010 second edition ring costs $370, $75 of which is donated to the Save the Children.

BVLGARI’s commitment builds on the successes of the Rewrite the Future Campaign in 2009, which raised more than 6 million Euros to improve the quality of education for over 10 million children worldwide, in partnership with global humanitarian organization Save the Children. To learn more about Save the Children’s HEART program, click here.
