Selma Blair: The Only Actress To Whom Todd Solondz Has Granted An Encore

Selma Blair sits down with L’Uomo Vogue to discuss her latest film Dark Horse.

The actress became known in Cruel Intentions from 1999 and later in Hellboy, but it was the collaboration with Todd Solondz that got her the most interesting performances. The two became friends while working together on the set of Storytelling in 2001 and recently they got together again for Dark Horse.

“I was suggesting to Todd actresses who in my opinion would have been perfect for that role, explains Blair, yet deep down I was hoping he would propose it to me. No one has ever worked with Todd more than once, but in the end he realized that I was the right person for the part.”
